EVERTON TRANSFER NEWS: we must sign him now “Sean Dyche”

According to recent reports, Everton manager Sean Dyche has instructed the club to pursue the signing of Luton Town striker Elijah Adebayo this summer, considering him an “outstanding” option to bolster the team’s attacking options.

Having narrowly avoided relegation, Everton are expected to be active in the upcoming transfer window, and Dyche has identified Adebayo as a potential key addition to his plans at Goodison Park.

The 26-year-old Adebayo has impressed during Luton’s debut Premier League campaign, despite the club’s eventual relegation back to the Championship. Despite being a regular starter in only 16 games, the towering 6’4″ striker has managed an impressive tally of 10 goals in 27 Premier League appearances.

Dyche, who is described as “a big admirer” of Adebayo, sees the £12,500-a-week forward as a strong option to provide the much-needed firepower upfront for Everton. The report suggests that the Toffees “are ready to offer Luton striker Elijah Adebayo the chance to stay in the Premier League.”

Luton manager Rob Edwards has praised Adebayo as an “outstanding” player, highlighting his value to the club. Dyche’s keen interest in securing the striker’s services signals his belief that Adebayo’s aerial prowess and physical presence could be well-suited to Everton’s more direct style of play under the new manager.

Notably, Adebayo has scored more headed goals in the Premier League this season than Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin,  underscoring his potential as an aerial threat and a potential ideal fit for Dyche’s pragmatic approach.
