Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is poised to depart Tottenham this summer due to his struggle to secure a regular spot in the team under Ange Postecoglou.
According to Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke disclosed that the Danish midfielder is informing the club of his intention to move elsewhere in search of consistent playing time.
Earlier reports from Football Insider stated that the 28-year-old has enlisted a new agent to facilitate his transfer once the window opens.
Hojbjerg is reportedly eyeing a switch to Serie A after experiencing a decrease in game time since Postecoglou’s arrival last summer. AC Milan, Juventus, and Napoli are among the clubs expressing interest in signing him.
His contract is due to expire in June 2025.
This move is part of a broader trend at Tottenham, with Football Insider reporting that Hojbjerg is just one of several senior players expected to depart as Postecoglou seeks to overhaul the squad.
