He underwent surgery in March, and Farke has confirmed he will return for pre-season training.
Struijk’s prolonged absence led Farke to reposition Ethan Ampadu in the defensive lineup.
Ampadu developed a solid partnership with Rodon, contributing to Leeds’ numerous clean sheets and their bid for direct promotion.
Depth is crucial, and Struijk’s comeback will provide Farke and Leeds with a significant lift.
Farke has previously described him as “a foundational piece for our future.”
Struijk’s performance in the early part of the season was impressive, and his absence was felt, particularly his aerial strength in both penalty areas.
