AliousAnge Postecoglou is likely worried about Tottenham forward Dejan Kulusevski’s current form.
Kulusevski had an underwhelming season with Spurs.
Although he was a regular starter under Postecoglou, he struggled to perform consistently.
Over 36 Premier League matches, he managed to score eight goals and provide three assists, following a previous season where he scored just twice and provided seven assists.
This sums up to just 10 goals and 10 assists across two Premier League seasons.
In contrast, Brennan Johnson tallied 10 assists last season, and Son Heung-min scored 17 goals along with 10 assists during the 2023/24 campaign. Postecoglou will undoubtedly expect more from Kulusevski in the upcoming season.
However, the Australian coach might be concerned that the 24-year-old isn’t showing any signs of improvement while playing for Sweden.

Kulusevski did end the season positively, scoring twice in Tottenham’s 3-0 win over an already-relegated Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on May 19.
He started both of Sweden’s recent friendlies, both of which ended in defeat.
In a 2-1 loss to Denmark on June 5, Kulusevski only managed a 20 percent accuracy rate with his crosses into the box, missed a big chance, gave away possession 14 times, and was dribbled past once, according to Sofascore.
The situation didn’t improve much in the 3-0 defeat to Serbia on June 8.
During that game, Kulusevski completed 91 percent of his passes, including three key passes, but managed just one accurate cross out of four attempts.
Additionally, he succeeded in just one of his three dribbles and gave away possession 12 times.
Postecoglou would have hoped for better performances from Kulusevski during international duty and will be looking for significant improvements from the forward in pre-season before the new campaign begins.
