A 26-year-old man, Kyle Clifford, has been arrested on suspicion of three counts of murder.
He is currently hospitalized in serious condition after being found injured at a cemetery in Enfield the following day.
As England prepares to face Spain in the Euro 2024 final in Berlin, Gary Flintoff, a former BBC Radio Merseyside commentator now working for BBC Radio Live, expressed his support for Hunt on social media.
Flintoff acknowledged the significance of the day for the BBC 5 Live Sport team but emphasized that their thoughts remain with Hunt and his surviving daughter, Amy.
John Hunt, a racing commentator, and his daughter Amy released a statement on Saturday expressing their need for space to process the tragedy and begin grieving.
They thanked people for their kind messages and support during this difficult time, stating that the devastation they’re experiencing is beyond words.
