Jefferson Lerma has expressed contentment with his life at Crystal Palace in a recent interview with Colombian media.

This comes amid rumors linking the defensive midfielder to Fenerbahce, who are reportedly keen on initiating transfer talks.

Speaking to El Colombiano following his impressive performance in the Copa America, Lerma emphasized his ongoing commitment to Crystal Palace.

He stated, “I still have a three-year contract with Crystal Palace. I’m comfortable and enjoy being at the club.

My family is happy living there.” He added that while football is unpredictable, he’s currently focused on his role at Palace.

Recent reports from Turkey suggest that Fenerbahce’s sporting director plans to visit England this week for transfer discussions regarding Lerma.

The Turkish club and their manager Jose Mourinho are looking to strengthen their midfield.

However, Lerma has previously downplayed these rumors in the Colombian press, stating he was unaware of Fenerbahce’s interest.

Lerma’s current contract with Crystal Palace runs until June 2026, with an option for a one-year extension.
