Earlier, Palace had shown interest in the Sporting Lisbon winger, with Dougie Freedman making a £12.6m offer – half the asking price.
Edwards, however, preferred a return to Tottenham.Fabrizio Romano reports that Juventus has approached Sporting about Edwards in the last 24 hours.
The Serie A club is looking to strengthen their wing position under Thiago Motta.
Edwards, once compared to Lionel Messi, remains an attractive option for Palace.
Despite signing Sarr, the club should consider pursuing Edwards due to the departures of Olise, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi (on loan), and potentially Jordan Ayew.
Adding Edwards would provide depth and competition in the position, giving manager Glasner more options in attack.
