Despite his potential, Skipp has primarily been a squad player at Tottenham rather than a regular starter.
Given West Ham’s need to prioritize their spending and strengthen multiple positions, investing such a significant sum in Skipp may not be the most prudent move.
Additionally, manager Julen Lopetegui doesn’t appear to be strongly advocating for the signing, suggesting it may not be a top priority for the club.
