TRANSFER UPDATE: SPEEDSTER PLAYER READY TO FIRE LEEDS TO GLORY! Bargain Signing Can Spark Promotion Push

Don Goodman believes Leeds United should definitely sign Jonathan Rowe from Norwich City, especially after Celtic’s recent transfer activity.

Leeds has shown interest in Rowe for some time, but faces competition from Marseille.

John Percy of The Telegraph reported that Marseille’s third offer, potentially worth £13.5 million, may be sufficient.

Goodman argues this is still a good deal, comparing it to Adam Idah’s move to Celtic.

Goodman told MOT Leeds News that he considers Rowe to be twice the player Idah is, making the £13 million price tag a bargain.

He believes Rowe would excel in Leeds’ team and hopes, as a Leeds fan, that the club secures his signature.

Leeds needs to act quickly on Rowe, as Marseille appears close to finalizing a deal.

Some may question the £13.5 million asking price, but Rowe has proven himself in the Championship and has potential for growth.

Goodman suggests Rowe’s value should be closer to £18 million, based on Idah’s transfer to Celtic.

Leeds has generated nearly £100 million from player sales recently, making their reluctance to spend on Daniel Farke’s desired four players potentially problematic.

With 10 days left in the transfer window, Leeds could still intervene in Marseille’s bid for Rowe to initiate a late surge of transfer activity.

However, based on recent patterns, it seems more likely that Leeds will remain passive and miss out on another transfer target.
