ELLAND ROAD EXIT LOOMS! “Stars Must Leave to Secure Their Futures”

Leeds United, despite their Premier League aspirations, face uncertainty for some players as the transfer deadline approaches.

The club has seen significant departures, including key players like Archie Gray, Glen Kamara, Crysencio Summerville, and Georginio Rutter, along with other fringe and loaned players.

While Leeds have made some notable signings, including Joe Rodon, Alex Cairns, Joe Rothwell, Jayden Bogle, and Largie Ramazani, more transfers are expected both in and out of the club.

Two players who could potentially leave Elland Road in the final days of the transfer window are:

1. Max Wöber:

The Austrian defender, who joined Leeds in January 2023, has been on loan at Borussia Mönchengladbach. There’s a strong possibility he could leave permanently, as he’s behind Joe Rodon and Pascal Struijk in the pecking order. Leeds are reportedly willing to listen to offers for Wöber.

2. Willy Gnonto:

Despite some interest, Leeds are determined to keep the Italian forward. The club believes his departure could hinder their promotion push.

Gnonto has reportedly acted professionally since last summer’s transfer saga and has regained trust within the team.

His versatility and potential impact in attack make him a valuable asset for Leeds’ rebuilt forward line.

Leeds are keen to maintain a strong attacking unit, especially after losing Summerville and Rutter.

Keeping Gnonto and potentially adding another impactful forward could give Leeds one of the strongest attacks in the Championship for the 2024/25 season.
