TEXTOR’S HIDDEN AGENDA! “How He Plans to Sell PALACE Stake and Seal EVERTON Deal”

John Textor, a potential buyer for Everton, has disclosed a previous attempt to fully acquire Crystal Palace, which may complicate his Everton takeover bid.

Textor, who was granted exclusive negotiation rights with Everton’s owners, must now sell his 45% stake in Palace before finalizing any deal with Everton.

The Guardian reports that Textor is evaluating two offers for his Palace shares, in which he has invested about £150 million over three years.

Textor confirmed his earlier bid to buy out Palace completely, stating that he made an offer at a valuation significantly higher than previous investments, believing the club’s value had increased since 2021.

However, Textor’s offer received no response, leading him to believe that his Palace partners wish to maintain their ownership.

Consequently, he resumed efforts to sell his interests.

Textor mentioned that several qualified buyers have shown strong interest, and he’s confident about completing a sale to move forward with his next venture.

Sky News reported that Textor’s Eagle Football Holdings is planning to become a US-listed company, potentially raising its valuation to over $2 billion.

The company, which holds controlling stakes in several football clubs including Lyon, Botafogo, RW Molenbeek, and FC Florida, aims to secure around $500 million in investment.
