Reports suggest Crystal Palace is interested in signing Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior, following their £30 million deal for Eddie Nketiah.

According to The Guardian, Palace has expressed interest in Kiwior as they finalize the Nketiah transfer.

Arsenal hasn’t decided whether they prefer a loan or permanent sale for Kiwior, while Italian club Bologna is also showing interest.

Arsenal acquired Kiwior from Spezia for £20 million in January 2023.

He’s made 38 appearances for the club and received praise from Alan Shearer last season, particularly for his performance against Burnley.

However, Kiwior was left out of Arsenal’s squad for their first game of the 2024-25 season.

In related news, David Seaman has advised Arsenal player Leandro Trossard to “get on with it” after Trossard expressed frustration at being benched for the first two Premier League games.

Trossard scored after coming on as a substitute against Aston Villa but made headlines for his muted celebration.

Seaman doesn’t see an issue with the situation, stating there will always be competition for places.

He suggests that if roles were reversed, Gabriel Martinelli would face the same challenge coming off the bench.

The former Arsenal goalkeeper emphasized that competition for positions is normal and advised Trossard to accept the situation and continue performing when given the opportunity.
