Everton’s unprecedented 3-2 loss, after leading 2-0 in the 87th minute, left them heading into the international break without a point.
Moyes, who previously led Everton to the top four and an FA Cup final, is now available after leaving West Ham and resides in the North West, adding to the pressure on Dyche.
Known for his organized and disciplined teams, Dyche’s reputation took a hit with the chaotic final minutes on Saturday.
Michael Keane and Dominic Calvert-Lewin had given Everton a deserved two-goal lead, but Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo, Lewis Cook, and Luis Sinisterra turned the game around.
Fans and stewards criticized Dyche for substituting the exciting winger Iliman Ndiaye just before the collapse.
Captain Seamus Coleman, a 15-year club veteran, was visibly shaken.
“It’s a shocker,” he said. “You can’t take your foot off the gas in the Premier League.
The fans want a team they can be proud of. They were for 80 minutes, but not after that.
“Despite keeping Everton up last season amid points deductions, Dyche is under increasing pressure after three straight defeats.
The club is hesitant to make changes before new owners arrive, but the thought of starting next season in the Championship is unthinkable.
Dyche plans to spend the next two weeks addressing the defensive issues, having conceded 10 goals in three games.
“We have to remind the players of how well we saw off games last season and all those clean sheets (13),” he said. “We have certainly done it many times.”
