SPURS’ SHOCKING REGRET! Former Player Outshines Maddison and Richarlison, Leaving Fans Wondering How could this…”

Tottenham Hotspur’s start to the Premier League season has been mixed, with one draw, one win, and one loss in their first three games.

While there’s still time for improvement, the team needs key players like James Maddison and squad players like Richarlison to perform consistently.

Interestingly, a former Spurs player who left last year with little attention has been outperforming both Maddison and Richarlison in certain aspects.

Richarlison’s time at Spurs has been underwhelming, with an average of a goal involvement every 2.86 games over two seasons.

This led to the club signing Dominic Solanke for £65m, potentially limiting Richarlison’s playing time.

Maddison, who joined for £40m last summer, has shown quality despite injury issues, achieving a goal involvement every 2.30 games last season.

However, Lucas Moura, who left Spurs for São Paulo last August, has been excelling.

In his final years at Spurs, Moura’s role was reduced, but he’s remembered fondly for his Champions League semi-final hat-trick against Ajax in 2019.

At São Paulo, Moura has become crucial to the team.

Last season, he outperformed Maddison with 9 goals and 7 assists in 33 appearances, matching Richarlison’s total goal involvements.

Moreover, Moura has recently been recalled to the Brazilian national team, while Richarlison was dropped in May.

While Moura’s post-Spurs career has flourished, outperforming Maddison statistically and surpassing Richarlison in national team selection, it’s unlikely that Tottenham would consider bringing him back.
