Gibbs-White, who has extensive experience with England’s youth teams, is hoping to make his debut against Ireland in Dublin.
There’s speculation that Gibbs-White might start the match, especially with injuries to Cole Palmer and Phil Foden creating opportunities in the lineup.
A senior cap would be a significant milestone for Gibbs-White, who has been one of the Premier League’s top chance creators this season.
Given Gibbs-White’s strong performances, Nottingham Forest is reportedly planning to offer him a new contract to secure his future at the club.
This comes after interest from other Premier League teams like Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United. The proposed deal is expected to make Gibbs-White the highest-paid player at Forest.
