EXCLUSIVE! “Dyche Reveals Branthwaite’s Return Date and Two More Injury Updates”

Sean Dyche has provided an update on Everton’s squad ahead of their upcoming match against Leicester City. The Toffees are in a challenging position, having lost all four of their Premier League games this season, leaving them at the bottom of the table. Their opponents, newly-promoted Leicester City, have also struggled, managing only two points so far.

Everton’s recent woes were compounded by their elimination from the Carabao Cup, losing to Southampton in a penalty shootout. The team was missing several key players due to illness, including Dominic Calvert-Lewin, James Garner, and Vitalii Mykolenko.

On a more positive note, Calvert-Lewin and Mykolenko have returned to training, though Garner remains absent. James Tarkowski, who missed the Southampton match due to a back problem, has trained and is expected to be available. However, Idrissa Gana Gueye will miss the Leicester game due to a family bereavement.

Jarrad Branthwaite and Nathan Patterson are back in training after recovering from groin and hamstring injuries respectively, but won’t feature in the Leicester match. Instead, they’re scheduled to play for the under-21s against Sunderland on Sunday.

Unfortunately, Seamus Coleman’s return has been delayed due to a setback during international duty with Ireland. Youssef Chermiti and new signing Armando Broja are also unavailable due to foot injuries.

This update paints a picture of a team dealing with various injury and illness issues as they seek to turn around their poor start to the season.
