Everton manager Sean Dyche is cautiously optimistic about Jarrad Branthwaite’s availability for Saturday’s match against Brentford.
After completing a full training session at Finch Farm, Branthwaite, who previously withdrew from the England squad due to a pelvic issue, is expected to be fit.
Dwight McNeil is also likely to return to the starting lineup after recovering from a knee problem that sidelined him during the previous match.
Dyche confirmed McNeil has had a good week of training.
Regarding other injured players, Armando Broja is making progress, training with the team but not yet match-ready.
Youssef Chermiti has had his first full training day after a toe injury. Seamus Coleman is beginning rehabilitation, Jimmy Garner is awaiting specialist clearance, and Tim Iroegbunam is gradually returning from a foot stress response.
