Then speaking after Norwich, Bennett singled out Bellingham for praise once again. He said on BBC Radio Newcastle: “Jobe Bellingham. He is a player. He took his opportunity fantastically wellHe could’ve easily hit it with his left foot, and hoped, but he’s pulled it back into his right and place it into the far corner.”

Last time round, Bellingham scored seven and assisted one more in 45 Championship outings, with Sunderland fan often having mixed opinions about the midfielder.
