Kristjaan Speakman is said to be interested in leaving a new striker in Regis Le Bris’ Christmas stocking, according to reports

Sunderland are reportedly showing interest in Ivorian striker Yannick Agnero, currently playing for Swedish club Halmstads BK, according to reports from 225foot in the Ivory Coast.

The 21-year-old forward has caught the attention of several clubs, including Norway’s Molde FK and Sweden’s Djurgården, after joining Halmstads following a successful trial from FC Nordsjælland last summer.

Agnero proved crucial in helping Halmstads avoid relegation, scoring the winning goal against Djurgården in their penultimate match.

He finished the 2024 Swedish season with four goals in his final eight appearances, making 11 appearances total for the 12th-placed side.

Earlier in 2024, he had a loan spell at Danish lower-division club Helsingør, where he scored once in 11 matches.
