TRANSFER SENSATION! Nottingham Forest PREPARE £21m BID for GOAL-MACHINE Winger! This PLAYER is SCORING THREE TIMES MORE than Anthony Elanga!

Nottingham Forest are actively exploring attacking reinforcements in the January transfer window to bolster their firepower alongside the in-form Chris Wood. Despite their impressive start to the season under Nuno Espírito Santo, which has left the team with few glaring weaknesses, the club recognizes the need for added offensive depth to sustain their momentum.

Among their options, Forest have reportedly been offered Yuri Alberto as a central striker, while Crystal Palace is currently leading the race for winger Romain Esse. Santiago Giménez remains a long-standing target, but with complications in securing his signature similar to those faced during the summer, owner Evangelos Marinakis appears ready to pivot to alternative prospects.

One such prospect is Galatasaray winger Barış Yılmaz, for whom Forest have reportedly made a substantial move. According to Turkish outlet *Sabah*, Forest submitted a £21 million bid for the 23-year-old, which was promptly rejected. However, the club is said to be undeterred by the setback and is prepared to return with an improved offer.

Yılmaz has caught the attention of Forest scouts due to his impressive form this season. Known for his combination of goal-scoring prowess and dribbling ability, Yılmaz could provide much-needed support for Chris Wood in the attacking third. Statistically, he outshines Forest’s current winger, Anthony Elanga, in several key areas. While Elanga creates more chances per 90 minutes, Yılmaz boasts a significantly higher goal tally, more shots on target, and superior dribbling statistics—attributes that align well with Espírito Santo’s counterattacking philosophy.

If Forest successfully land Yılmaz, his dynamic skill set could make him a standout addition to the squad. His ability to score goals, penetrate defenses, and enhance the team’s attacking transitions could potentially push Elanga down the pecking order.

With Marinakis eager to support Espírito Santo’s ambitions, Forest’s renewed pursuit of Yılmaz signals their intent to strengthen their attack and maintain their upward trajectory in the Premier League.
