“Crystal Palace Greenlights £12m Star’s Exit as MLS Giants and Millwall Battle for His Signature!”

Crystal Palace have reportedly decided to part ways with Jeffrey Schlupp, with Millwall and several MLS clubs expressing interest in signing the versatile Ghana international. The 32-year-old’s contract at Selhurst Park expires this summer, and the Eagles have opted not to offer him a renewal.

TBR Football understands that Millwall, looking to strengthen their squad after agreeing to sell Romain Esse to Crystal Palace in a £14.5m deal, have identified Schlupp as a potential replacement for the England U20 international. However, the Lions face stiff competition from MLS sides San Diego FC and Charlotte FC, both of which are keen to engage in talks with Schlupp.

Sources indicate that Crystal Palace are open to allowing Schlupp to leave this month rather than wait for his contract to expire in June. Despite Millwall’s interest, their pursuit of Schlupp is said to be unrelated to the Esse deal, with both transfers being handled independently.

Schlupp has been a dependable figure for Crystal Palace since his £12m move from Leicester City in January 2017. Over his seven years at Selhurst Park, he has made 246 appearances, contributing 19 goals and 15 assists.

Meanwhile, another Crystal Palace player whose future remains uncertain is Odsonne Edouard. The Frenchman, loaned to Leicester City earlier this season, has seen limited playing time, amassing just 26 minutes in the Premier League. TBR Football reports that Atlanta United is interested in securing Edouard’s services and is also keeping an eye on Middlesbrough striker Emmanuel Latte Lath as an alternative option.

With both Schlupp and Edouard potentially on their way out, Crystal Palace are actively working to reshape their squad under Oliver Glasner as they aim to climb away from 15th place in the Premier League table.
