EXCLUSIVE: Crystal Palace Set to STEAL World’s Most EXPLOSIVE Young Talent!

Crystal Palace are reportedly on the verge of signing Gabriel Aguayo, the highly-rated attacker from Paraguayan club Cerro Porteño.

As per a report from *Popular*, the Eagles are closing in on a deal to bring the 19-year-old to the Premier League.

Aguayo, who has risen rapidly through the ranks at Cerro Porteño, has garnered significant attention for his performances since breaking into the senior team at the start of 2024.

In 33 appearances, the versatile winger has contributed six goals, showcasing his ability to impact games with his pace, dribbling, and knack for taking on defenders.

While Aguayo’s preferred position is on the right wing, he has the versatility to play on the left or even as a central attacker when required.

His skill set and potential have caught the eye of several top European clubs, but Crystal Palace now appear to be leading the race to secure his services.

The move aligns with Palace’s strategy of investing in young talent, as they look to bolster their squad following an inconsistent start to the season.

Aguayo’s signing could also provide future-proofing for the club, particularly amid uncertainty surrounding Eberechi Eze’s long-term future.

The Eagles have a strong track record of developing promising players, and they believe Aguayo could be a valuable asset for years to come.

Negotiations between Crystal Palace and Cerro Porteño have reportedly progressed well, with both clubs nearing an agreement.

While the deal is expected to be finalized before the transfer window closes, it may officially go through after the conclusion of the South American Under-20 Championship, in which Aguayo is participating.

Although Aguayo may not be ready for a prominent role immediately, Palace view him as a long-term investment.

His arrival would provide added depth to their attacking options and reinforce their commitment to nurturing emerging talent.
