“Rangers Takeover Twist: Hollywood A-Lister Stuns Fans in Club Strip – Ibrox Set for Huge ‘Cut-Price Deals’ Under New Ownership!”

The ongoing discussions surrounding Rangers’ potential takeover by 49ers Enterprises continue to generate major headlines, with fresh reports confirming that a ‘deal agreed in principle’ has been reached. The expectation is that the takeover will be finalized before the conclusion of the 2024/25 season, ushering in a new era at Ibrox.

Rangers Set for Bargain Transfers Under New Ownership**

Former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown has suggested that if the takeover is completed, Rangers could significantly benefit from cut-price transfer deals. Given that 49ers Enterprises also own Leeds United, Brown believes both clubs could take advantage of a multi-club structure, a system already utilized successfully by the likes of Manchester City.

Reflecting on his own experience at Manchester United, Brown recalled how young players were sent to Belgian side Royal Antwerp to develop their skills, benefiting both clubs. He believes a similar arrangement between Leeds and Rangers could prove mutually advantageous.

*”Rangers’ squad is currently well below par, but their financial constraints limit their ability to secure top-tier players,”* Brown told *Football Insider.* *”Meanwhile, Leeds look set to return to the Premier League, but their current squad may not be strong enough to compete at that level. Players who struggle to make the step up could be offloaded, and Rangers could sign them at a reduced price.”*

This could provide Rangers with much-needed reinforcements while allowing Leeds to raise funds to comply with Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) and Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations. The vast gap in quality between the Championship and the Premier League means many of Leeds’ surplus players could still significantly improve Rangers’ squad.

### **Hollywood Star Spotted in Rangers Shirt Amid Takeover Hype**

As major football deals unfold, celebrity connections often follow, and the pending Rangers takeover could bring fresh A-list attention to the club.

Canadian actress Shay Mitchell, best known for *Pretty Little Liars*, recently posted an Instagram photo wearing Rangers’ 2021/22 home shirt. While it remains unclear whether she has direct ties to the club, her father has Scottish and Irish heritage, possibly explaining her choice of attire. Regardless, her timing coincides with an exciting period for Rangers, particularly given the high-profile investors already associated with 49ers Enterprises.

Hollywood legend Russell Crowe is part of the investment group, while comedian Will Ferrell holds a minority stake in Leeds United. Additionally, golfing superstar Jordan Spieth and the most decorated Olympian of all time, Michael Phelps, are also involved.

With the takeover progressing, Rangers could soon find themselves not only benefiting from shrewd transfer business but also gaining increased global exposure through their growing celebrity affiliations.
