TRANSFER THUNDERDOME: Everton Enters GLADIATOR-STYLE Battle for ULTIMATE PRIZE Player with BRIGHTON and one EUROPEAN GIANT! Who Will SURVIVE?

Several Premier League teams, including Everton, Brighton and Hove Albion, and Crystal Palace, have expressed interest in acquiring the services of Mahamadou Doumbia, a promising young talent.

This information comes from Africa Foot, which also notes that these English clubs will be contending with Italian powerhouse Juventus for the 20-year-old’s signature.

According to the report, Juventus has taken the lead by initiating preliminary discussions with the entourage of the Royal Antwerp midfielder.

The Turin-based club is preparing a bid in the region of €10m and is keen on securing the player’s transfer to Italy during the upcoming summer transfer window.

However, Antwerp, Doumbia’s current team, is unlikely to let their prized asset go for such a sum, as they value him at approximately €15m, especially considering his contract runs until 2027.

Antwerp is well aware of the growing attention surrounding their midfielder, with not only the aforementioned Premier League trio but also Sevilla and Napoli from Spain and Italy, respectively, having demonstrated their interest.

This widespread appeal could potentially trigger a bidding war for the young star, driving up his transfer fee – a scenario that Juventus would prefer to avoid, given the financial might of the Premier League clubs.

While Crystal Palace and Brighton’s interest in Doumbia has been known for about a month, Everton has only recently emerged as a contender for the player’s services.

It remains uncertain which club, if any, will ultimately triumph in the increasingly competitive pursuit of the youngster, especially with a formidable force like Juventus in the fray.
