JUST NOW: Wolves Set for Shock £25M Sale as Club Prepares to Cut Their Losses on Star Signing!

Wolverhampton Wanderers appear ready to take a financial hit on one of their players, with reports suggesting they are willing to offload him for £25 million this summer.

Wolves Edge Closer to Premier League Safety

The Old Gold took a significant step toward securing their top-flight status with back-to-back victories, most recently edging out West Ham United 1-0 on Tuesday. This followed a hard-fought 2-1 win over Southampton before the international break.

Currently sitting nine points clear of the relegation zone with nine matches left, Wolves seem to be in a comfortable position. After the win over West Ham, manager Vitor Pereira praised his squad’s resilience, stating:

*”We deserved this result because we played 45 minutes of high-quality football. The score should have been 2-0 at halftime. In the second half, we had to battle for the result, especially in the final 10 minutes. But our team spirit was evident—we fought and helped each other to secure the three points.”*

Fabio Silva on the Chopping Block?

While Wolves focus on finishing the season strong, preparations for the summer transfer window are already underway. One player expected to be on the move is **Fabio Silva**, who is currently on loan at Las Palmas.

The 22-year-old forward has enjoyed a solid campaign in La Liga, scoring eight goals and registering two assists in 21 appearances. However, when asked about his Wolves future after scoring for Portugal’s U21 side against England last month, Silva remained tight-lipped:

*”I can’t answer that right now. My focus is on helping Las Palmas stay in Spain’s top division and preparing for the Euros with Portugal. After that, we’ll see.”*

Wolves Set £25M Price Tag on Silva

According to reports from Spain, Wolves have decided to cut their losses on Silva. Having signed him for **€40 million (£33.4 million)**, the club is now willing to sell him for **€30 million (£25 million)** this summer.

Spanish sides **Villarreal and Real Betis** have expressed interest in securing his services, but Wolves’ valuation could prove to be a stumbling block in securing a permanent move.

With Silva under contract at Molineux until 2026, this summer represents one of the last realistic opportunities for Wolves to cash in. While it remains uncertain whether they will receive their full £25 million asking price, the club appears ready to accept an **£8 million+ loss** on their record signing.
