The club’s top priority will be addressing the future of star forward Matheus Cunha, who is attracting serious interest after a stellar goal-scoring campaign. This marks a stark contrast to former manager Gary O’Neil’s criticism of the club’s transfer dealings. In December 2024, O’Neil expressed frustration over Wolves’ reliance on player sales, citing an exodus of Premier League-caliber talent and a shift toward bargain buys.
