Ahead of Brighton’s upcoming clash with the Magpies at the Amex Stadium, Hürzeler spoke admiringly of Newcastle’s transformation under Howe, noting the club’s stability, clear playing identity, and recent success as a model for what Brighton hopes to achieve
. “They’re a very stable side with a defined style. Winning the Carabao Cup was a huge step for them,” said the young German coach. “They’re showing us the way forward. We hope to one day match their success.”
The Brighton boss also expressed well wishes for Howe’s health following the Newcastle manager’s recent recovery from pneumonia, showing both sportsmanship and empathy toward his counterpart.
