Rangers Fans Stunned as Shocking Ancelotti Update Drops – Major Twist in Negotiations Teased, Iconic Name Could Head to Ibrox!!!

Rangers Manager Hunt Intensifies as Carlo Ancelotti Confirms Son Davide in Talks with European Club

The speculation surrounding Davide Ancelotti’s managerial future has taken a new twist, as legendary coach Carlo Ancelotti officially confirmed that his son will not be joining him on Brazil’s national team coaching staff — fueling rumours of a potential move to Rangers.

Carlo, who was unveiled as Brazil’s new head coach in his first official press conference, addressed growing speculation around his son’s next career move. Davide, 35, has been strongly linked with the vacant managerial position at Rangers following the departure of Philippe Clement. With years of top-level experience as an assistant coach under his father at clubs like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Napoli, and Everton, he’s now reportedly eager to strike out on his own.

While some reports hinted Davide might temporarily assist Carlo during his early days in charge of the Brazilian national team, that possibility has now been ruled out. The elder Ancelotti made it clear that Davide is pursuing an independent opportunity and is actively negotiating with a European club — a statement that appears to reinforce the Ibrox speculation.

“Davide is currently in discussions with a European team,” Carlo said. “I didn’t think it was right to bring him with me to Brazil while those talks are ongoing. If he secures a role, I’ll wish him all the best. If not, the door remains open for him to return and work alongside me again.”

With Rangers still deep in their search for a new permanent manager, this development puts Davide Ancelotti firmly in the spotlight as a front-running candidate.
