Vanat Deal Edges Closer as Sunderland Emerge as Front-Runners
Ukrainian sources report that Sunderland have surged to the front of the queue to land Dynamo Kyiv striker Vladyslav Vanat, despite stiff competition from Fulham, Leeds United, and Everton. The 23-year-old netted 21 goals last season across all competitions, cementing his reputation as a top-tier finisher in Eastern Europe.
The Black Cats are believed to be weighing up a bid in the region of £16.8 million, although Dynamo’s president, Ihor Surkis, has dismissed current reports as premature, stating that no formal bids have yet been received.
