SPEAKMAN FAREWELL GIFT: Sunderland Plot SHOCK £43M Triple Transfer Swoop Under Kristjaan Speakman – Premier League Rivals on Alert as Black Cats Eye Game-Changing Summer Splash to Supercharge Premier League Return!

Sunderland Plot £43m Triple Transfer Splash with Premier League Ambitions Under Speakman

Sunderland are preparing to make a bold statement in the summer transfer market following their return to the Premier League, with Kristjaan Speakman and head of recruitment Stuart Harvey targeting a high-impact triple swoop worth approximately £43 million. The Black Cats, now under the guidance of Régis Le Bris, are reportedly advancing talks to bring in striker Vladyslav Vanat, Scottish prodigy Lennon Miller, and French forward Matthis Abline.

Vanat Deal Edges Closer as Sunderland Emerge as Front-Runners

Ukrainian sources report that Sunderland have surged to the front of the queue to land Dynamo Kyiv striker Vladyslav Vanat, despite stiff competition from Fulham, Leeds United, and Everton. The 23-year-old netted 21 goals last season across all competitions, cementing his reputation as a top-tier finisher in Eastern Europe.

The Black Cats are believed to be weighing up a bid in the region of £16.8 million, although Dynamo’s president, Ihor Surkis, has dismissed current reports as premature, stating that no formal bids have yet been received. Any progress on the deal may be delayed until after Vanat’s involvement with Ukraine’s U21 side at the Euros concludes.

£10m Move for Lennon Miller in the Works

In a parallel development, Sunderland are ‘quietly optimistic’ about securing Lennon Miller from Motherwell. The 18-year-old midfielder – widely tipped as one of Britain’s brightest young talents – recently made his senior Scotland debut and has attracted interest from Celtic, Rangers, and several European clubs, including Borussia Dortmund.

Sunderland, however, are preparing to blow the competition out of the water with a £10 million offer, hoping Premier League football will sway the youngster. Miller, under contract until 2026, has already turned heads with a standout campaign and reportedly rejected a lower bid from Serie A’s Udinese earlier this year.

Black Cats Eye Abline but Face Heavy Competition

The third prong of Sunderland’s transfer strategy is French striker Matthis Abline, currently on the books at FC Nantes. Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri reports that Sunderland have shown serious interest, but face a tough battle with Premier League sides Burnley and Brentford, as well as French clubs Marseille and Paris FC.

Nantes have valued Abline at €20 million (approx. £17 million). Although Sunderland’s intentions are clear, it’s uncertain whether they’ll match that price amid rival bids from clubs offering more immediate European exposure.

Big Ambitions and a Bold Strategy

This triple-pronged recruitment push underscores Sunderland’s ambition to not just survive, but thrive in their Premier League return. While the deals are at varying stages of development, the combined outlay of around £43 million would mark one of the most aggressive transfer windows in the club’s recent history. With Speakman and Harvey at the helm and Le Bris needing top-flight quality, the Black Cats are clearly not here to make up the numbers.
