He left in 2019 for Turkish side Genclerbirligi and has since played mainly in Turkey, with a brief return to Portugal last season. The stylish midfielder was brought in on loan by Steven Gerrard in 2018 from Liverpool but struggled for consistency. His contract with Mohun Bagan wasn’t renewed after the last campaign, and he could be an experienced depth option for Martin.
