Wolves’ Summer Overhaul Off to Strong Start, Says Club Legend Steve Bull
Club icon Steve Bull has welcomed Wolverhampton Wanderers’ early activity in the summer transfer market, calling it a “positive start” to what promises to be a crucial rebuild under new boss Vitor Pereira.
Bull expressed his satisfaction that the club is moving swiftly, noting that getting business done early will allow Pereira crucial pre-season time to integrate new players. For weeks, there’s been growing concern about the need for fresh faces, and Wolves appear to be responding.
The signing of 21-year-old Spanish attacker Fer Lopez marks the club’s first move of the window, and Bull believes he may be just the beginning of a flurry of arrivals.
While acknowledging that Lopez is still developing, Bull is optimistic about the young forward’s potential. Though he doesn’t expect him to immediately replace the influence of Matheus Cunha, Bull hopes the former Espanyol man will grow into a key figure in the squad over time.
“He’s clearly a talented lad,” Bull noted. “This is the kind of smart, early business we’ve been needing. I’m hopeful there’s more to come.”
