The Whites are said to be up against West Ham United, Fenerbahce, Besiktas, Wolfsburg and Porto in the battle to secure the Moroccan defender’s signature next summer.
El Karouani Catching the Eye in the Netherlands
El Karouani has been one of Utrecht’s standout performers this season, impressing on the left side of defence. The 25-year-old has registered three goals and an impressive 16 assists in 38 appearances across all competitions.
His attacking output places him among the most productive full-backs in European football this term, making him an attractive option for Leeds ahead of the summer window.
With his contract set to expire at the end of the current campaign, Leeds could have the opportunity to sign him on a free transfer — a move that would represent excellent value.
