He’s coming to New Hart lane? Club Director issues GOOD NEWS to Tottenham their Next World-class Manager Expected to be APPOINTED by the club

It has been widely suggested that Tottenham Hotspur plan to appoint a permanent manager this summer.

A number of candidates have already been linked with the role, including Roberto De Zerbi, Mauricio Pochettino, Oliver Glasner and Andoni Iraola.

However, the situation remains uncertain. Tottenham are currently battling to avoid relegation and, if they were to drop into the Championship, attracting top managerial talent could become significantly more difficult.

Pochettino responds to Tottenham rumours

Although Spurs remain hopeful of staying in the Premier League, the leading candidate for the permanent position, Mauricio Pochettino, was in attendance during their heavy 5–2 defeat to Atletico Madrid.

The result only increased the pressure on interim manager Igor Tudor, whose time in charge of the north London club may prove to be short-lived.

Pochettino has now addressed the speculation surrounding a potential return to Tottenham.

Speaking to Radiogaceta de los Deportes on RNE, as reported by Mundo Deportivo, the Argentine explained that he is often linked with clubs he previously managed.

He said he frequently hears his name connected with former teams such as Tottenham and RCD Espanyol whenever those clubs face difficult periods. According to Pochettino, fans often look back fondly and remember the style of football played during his tenure.

Despite the rumours, he insisted his current focus remains on the upcoming FIFA World Cup in the United States. Pochettino also noted that his current contract runs until after the tournament, after which he will evaluate his options.

Spurs may face competition
Tottenham may not have a clear path if they attempt to bring Pochettino back this summer.

Spanish giants Real Madrid have also been linked with the Argentine coach, which could create strong competition for his signature.

With Real Madrid currently in a stronger sporting position than Tottenham, it remains uncertain whether the north London club would be able to persuade Pochettino to return.
