Tottenham hit with superb GOOD NEWS from Clubs medical team that’s got everyone excited towards and Optimistic towards relegation fight

There’s no question that Tottenham Hotspur have endured a difficult 2025/26 campaign when it comes to injuries.

At one stage this season, the squad was stretched to its limit, with as many as 13 players sidelined due to a mix of injuries, illness, and suspensions. Fortunately for Spurs, that number has started to drop in recent weeks. Ahead of their clash with Nottingham Forest, only seven players were unavailable, and the situation could improve even further soon.

Reports suggest that up to five players may return over the next three weeks, giving the squad a timely boost. Mohammed Kudus, Ben Davies, and Yves Bissouma—all of whom have been out for extended periods—are expected to resume training shortly, potentially putting them in contention for the league fixture against Sunderland on April 12.

Head coach Igor Tudor had previously indicated that Kudus could be back within ten days of the Forest game, while Davies is targeting a return around mid-April. There is less clarity around Bissouma’s recovery timeline, though there is optimism that his absence won’t be prolonged.

Meanwhile, Mathys Tel, who picked up a knock against Forest and was forced off, will undergo further assessment. If the issue proves minor, he could still be available for selection in the near future.

Another player nearing a comeback is Rodrigo Bentancur, who is recovering from a thigh injury and could return sometime next month, potentially in time for the Sunderland match.

While the injury outlook is improving, the upcoming international break presents a fresh concern. A total of 28 Spurs players have travelled to represent their countries in friendlies and World Cup qualifiers, raising the risk of new injuries.

Tottenham will be hoping all of their players return unscathed, as they prepare for a crucial run-in in the Premier League and continue their fight to avoid relegation.
