The Hammers’ disappointing campaign under their new Spanish manager has yielded just three victories from ten Premier League fixtures, leaving them languishing in 14th position. Lopetegui faced harsh criticism for what was deemed a ‘ridiculous’ tactical decision during the Forest defeat, while his persistence with an underperforming Guido Rodriguez has drawn further scrutiny.
