Hull City has terminated the employment of head coach Tim Walter following a disastrous start to the Championship season. The team’s performance has been catastrophically poor, languishing in the relegation zone after 17 league matches and suffering four consecutive defeats, with their latest loss coming against Sheffield Wednesday.
Prior to Walter’s dismissal, club chairman Acun Ilicali had publicly backed the manager, assuring fans of his continued support. However, mounting fan frustration and the team’s abysmal form ultimately led to Walter’s removal.
