AliousEverton have completed the signing of 31-year-old midfielder Hayley Ladd from Manchester United for an undisclosed fee. The Welsh international brings a wealth of experience to the Merseyside club following a successful five-and-a-half-year stint with United.
Ladd joined Manchester United in the summer of 2019, shortly after their promotion to the Barclays Women’s Super League, and played a pivotal role in cementing their place among England’s top clubs. During her time at United, she made 110 appearances, scored 12 goals, and was part of the squad that lifted the Adobe Women’s FA Cup last season.
On the international stage, Ladd has been a cornerstone of the Welsh national team, earning 99 caps and scoring three goals for her country.
Speaking about her move to Everton, Ladd expressed her enthusiasm, saying:

She also praised Everton manager Brian Sørensen:
