### A Rethink for Marinakis?
Before the match, Marinakis was reportedly targeting three January signings, including a winger. However, Sosa’s display could force a reevaluation. His goal and assist, coupled with Silva’s contribution on the opposite flank, suggest that Forest already have reliable depth in wide areas.
While Hudson-Odoi and Anthony Elanga remain Espirito Santo’s first-choice wingers, Sosa’s emergence may make additional reinforcements in that position unnecessary. Instead, Forest could redirect funds toward bolstering other areas of the squad, particularly the striker position, as Taiwo Awoniyi struggled to make an impact in the cup tie.
