“Transfer Showdown: Newcastle United Battles Crystal Palace and Fiorentina for €30M Brazilian Star!”

Newcastle United is set to face stiff competition in their pursuit of 24-year-old Brazilian winger Luiz Henrique, with Crystal Palace and several other clubs vying for his signature.

The Botafogo star has attracted attention from across Europe, including from Fiorentina, who are keen to win the race for the talented winger.

According to reports from Corriere dello Sport, as relayed by Sport Witness, Newcastle United has made Henrique a target, while Crystal Palace is also pushing for his services.

However, it is Fiorentina who have reportedly stepped up their efforts to secure the Brazilian, hoping to persuade him to choose them over their rivals.

Henrique has enjoyed a remarkable rise since joining Botafogo from Real Betis in February 2024, making an immediate impact in the Brasileirao Serie A and playing a key role in helping Botafogo win the league title and the Copa Libertadores.

His impressive performances have put him on the radar of several top clubs, and his potential move to Europe seems increasingly likely, with Premier League sides, including Newcastle United and Crystal Palace, keen to bring him on board.

Botafogo is reportedly demanding around €30 million for the winger, which has attracted interest from a range of clubs.

Crystal Palace’s interest is understandable, as the club is looking to add more attacking options, particularly with Ismaila Sarr already settling into the team.

Manager Oliver Glasner is seeking to strengthen his squad, and Henrique has emerged as a strong candidate to add firepower to the attack.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United is in need of a new wide attacker after Miguel Almiron agreed to personal terms for a move to MLS with Atlanta United.

Henrique has become a top option for the Magpies to replace Almiron’s departure.

However, Newcastle and Crystal Palace are not the only clubs in the hunt. Other suitors include Nottingham Forest, Lyon, Zenit St.

Petersburg, and the ever-determined Fiorentina. The Serie A club, eager to outbid their rivals, is reportedly focused on securing Henrique’s signature and is hoping the player will be swayed by their offer, choosing them over the Premier League sides.

As the competition for the Brazilian winger intensifies, it remains to be seen if any of these clubs will meet Botafogo’s €30 million asking price to secure his services.
