Wissa, 28, has been in exceptional form this season, netting 11 goals in 19 appearances. Only elite names such as Erling Haaland, Mohamed Salah, Cole Palmer, Alexander Isak, Bryan Mbeumo, and Forest’s own Chris Wood have scored more in the league. Since joining Brentford from French side Lorient ahead of their Premier League debut, Wissa has become a key figure in Thomas Frank’s team, with 41 goals in 133 appearances. However, with his contract set to expire in 2026 and no extension in sight, Brentford may eventually consider cashing in on the striker.
