SNUBBED? Why Vitor Pereira’s Decision Could End His Wolves Career!”

**Wolves Make Ruthless Calls That Could End One Star’s Career at the Club**

Wolves have made two decisive moves that may spell the end of one player’s time at Molineux for good. As the transfer window closed on Monday, manager Vitor Pereira appeared content with the club’s business, having secured key reinforcements to bolster the squad.

**New Signings Signal Shift in Squad Dynamics**

Emmanuel Agbadou has already made an immediate impact, earning the Player of the Month award following an outstanding January. Joining him are centre-back Nasser Djiga and midfielder Marshall Munetsi, both of whom are expected to feature in the squad against Blackburn Rovers this weekend.

However, these arrivals have had a ripple effect, casting uncertainty over the futures of some existing players. Pereira is reportedly in discussions with the club’s hierarchy to terminate **Craig Dawson’s** contract. The experienced defender has been left out of the squad, signaling that he no longer fits into Pereira’s plans. But Dawson isn’t the only casualty.

**Sasa Kalajdzic Omitted from Premier League Squad**

Equally unsurprising is the exclusion of **Sasa Kalajdzic**, who has been left out of Wolves’ Premier League squad for the remainder of the season. The Austrian forward, plagued by injuries since his arrival from Stuttgart in 2022, is currently recovering from his **third ACL injury**, which he sustained during a loan spell with Eintracht Frankfurt last year.

While Kalajdzic has been seen working on the pitch at Compton Park, it’s unclear if he’s returned to full training. Pereira’s decision to omit him all but ends any hopes of the 27-year-old featuring this season. It’s been a challenging spell for the striker, who has managed just **14 appearances** for Wolves since his £15 million move. Despite having **55 career goals**, recurring injuries have robbed him of the opportunity to showcase his talent in the Premier League.

**Vitor Pereira Breaks Silence on Kalajdzic’s Future**

When asked about the decision to leave Kalajdzic out of the squad, Pereira explained that it was primarily driven by concerns over the player’s long-term health.

**“Sasa has suffered a very serious injury,”** Pereira told *The Athletic*. **“I don’t want to put unnecessary pressure on him because, at this point in his career, it’s crucial that he recovers fully. He needs time—proper time—to heal step by step. Pushing him too soon could be disastrous for his future.”**

Pereira emphasized that the decision was made with medical advice in mind, stating:
**“I have to respect the medical department’s recommendations. I can’t force a player onto the pitch if there’s even a slight risk, especially when his career could be on the line.”**

**What’s Next for Kalajdzic?**

Despite having a contract that runs until 2027, Kalajdzic’s future at Wolves looks increasingly uncertain. The club may seek to offload him permanently in the summer, especially if they receive interest from teams willing to take a chance on his recovery.

While Pereira’s decision appears to be based on the player’s well-being, it also hints at the harsh reality of professional football—where time waits for no one, and injuries can quickly derail promising careers. The summer transfer window could very well determine whether Kalajdzic ever wears a Wolves shirt again.
