“ERUPTION IN ISTANBUL! Mourinho Slams Rangers, Ferguson Involved in FURIOUS Fenerbahce Bust-Up

Jose Mourinho advised Rangers to temper their celebrations following their Europa League victory in Istanbul, warning that the tie remains open. During the match at Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, Rangers’ interim manager Barry Ferguson was involved in a heated sideline exchange with Fenerbahce staff.

Rangers took a commanding lead in the first leg with Cyriel Dessers opening the scoring before Vaclav Cerny added two more goals. Alexander Djiku’s first-half strike kept Fenerbahce’s hopes alive ahead of the return leg in Glasgow.

Photographs captured Ferguson approaching the opposition’s technical area during what appeared to be a verbal confrontation. Additional images showed him making talking gestures toward the Fenerbahce bench following the brief altercation.

In his post-match comments, Mourinho cautioned the jubilant Rangers contingent, stating: “The only thing I would tell them is don’t celebrate too much, because there is a second match to play.”
