It’s believed that Cunha’s contract includes a release clause exceeding £60m—a sum that would shatter Forest’s current record transfer fee by a wide margin.
Their most expensive signing to date is Elliot Anderson, acquired from Newcastle United for £35m, though the net cost was reduced to £15m due to Odysseas Vlachodimos’ £20m move in the opposite direction.
