European Giants rival Nottingham Forest in race to sign world most Wanted Hitman

Monaco Join Nottingham Forest in Pursuit of Feyenoord Star Anis Hadj-Moussa

AS Monaco are reportedly set to battle it out with Nottingham Forest for the signing of Feyenoord winger Anis Hadj-Moussa during the upcoming transfer window, according to L’Équipe.

The 23-year-old Algerian international has enjoyed a strong campaign in the Eredivisie, tallying nine goals and three assists.

Despite his impact, Hadj-Moussa came close to leaving the Dutch side in January when Ligue 1 club Lille pushed hard for his signature—negotiations progressed well but ultimately collapsed before the deadline.

Now, a summer departure looks increasingly likely.

Monaco are expected to be in the market for a new wide attacker, particularly with highly-rated Maghnes Akliouche attracting heavy interest from top European clubs including Manchester City, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain.

Should Akliouche depart, Hadj-Moussa has emerged as one of the leading candidates to fill the void.

However, Monaco won’t have a clear path to the Algerian’s signature. Nottingham Forest are also keen on securing his services, especially with their ambitions of qualifying for next season’s UEFA Champions League still alive.

The Premier League side’s growing stature could give them an edge, setting the stage for a competitive transfer battle between the two clubs.
