A major question remains over whether Daniel Farke will retain his position as head coach next season, with doubts reportedly lingering due to his underwhelming past Premier League record at Norwich.
Despite missing 21 games this season due to injury, Ampadu has emerged as a central figure in Leeds’ promotion campaign. According to *The Athletic*, with a number of squad departures expected, club executives have already formed a clear opinion on the Welshman’s future. They believe he is among a small core of players who could successfully transition to Premier League football and maintain a starting role.
Ampadu joined from Chelsea two summers ago and, when fit, has consistently delivered high-level performances in midfield, earning praise as one of the Championship’s standout players.
However, plenty of uncertainty surrounds other key members of the squad. Golden Boot contender Joel Piroe, for instance, may be replaced, as questions persist over his ability to perform at a higher level.
