While Chris Wood has led the line admirably this season, his advancing age—now 33—means Forest can’t afford to rely on him as a regular starter, especially with the prospect of European football looming.
Additionally, with star men like Morgan Gibbs-White attracting interest from Manchester City and Callum Hudson-Odoi being tracked by Italian clubs, Forest may be forced into the market to replace key attacking talent.
Among the players Forest are reportedly tracking is Wolfsburg’s electric forward Mohamed Amoura. The 24-year-old Algerian, who is on loan from Belgian side Union SG, has impressed in the Bundesliga with 10 goals in 28 appearances.
