Meanwhile, Wolves aim to shake off a narrow 1-0 defeat to Manchester City. Already clear of relegation danger, the team has enjoyed a resurgence in the second half of the season. Veteran Matt Doherty praised Pereira’s influence, highlighting renewed energy and improved unity across the squad.
Doherty admitted that while the loss to City was disappointing, it shouldn’t overshadow their recent momentum: “There’s real belief and connection in the team now. We’ve turned things around remarkably, and we should be proud of that.”
