Despite Verona’s position in 15th, Coppola’s performances have drawn attention across Europe, with Serie A giants like Juventus and AC Milan reportedly monitoring his progress.
Brighton’s urgency in pursuing a centre-back is well-founded. The club has shipped 56 goals this season, among the worst records in the Premier League.
