The incident is believed to have taken place during Wednesday’s fixture at Ibrox Stadium, where video footage circulated online showing a fan in the away section making offensive gestures—interpreted by many as ridiculing the 1971 Ibrox tragedy, in which 66 people tragically died in a stairway crush at the end of an Old Firm derby.
