“The noise surrounding Gerrard is now deafening,” Jackson said. “There are even suggestions his backroom team is already in place, with Davis set to be his number two and Henderson ready to move from Ajax to take on a dual player-coach role. Some say the announcement could come as soon as tomorrow.”
